



"I established Total Body Fitness in April of 2009 to help lead others to a healthy lifestyle. I wanted to develop a program that encourages others to know that their health & fitness is not out of reach & can become a reality.
After gaining 44 pounds in my early twenties I had to do something to get it off. In 1999 I joined a gym & studied nutrition at Austin Community College in Austin, TX. There I learned about proper diet & food combinations to maximize nutrient consumption. I then studied kinesiology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in business. Throughout this time I learned how to lose weight, eat healthy & get the weight off the right way & by living like this I, have been able to keep the weight off for over 9 years.
Now that I am older I have had to adapt my workouts because my body has changed, especially after having a child. The work-out routines that I performed at age 25 no longer give me the results they used to. I had to learn "muscle confusion" in order to trick my body in order to see results, by combining cardio with plyometrics, weight training, yoga, kickboxing, etc.
By adapting to this type of program I know that anyone can get in the best shape of their life...If I can do it anyone can do it!!!!
As of May 2009, I am currently working towards getting my Personal Training Certification. I am not certified to instruct. Based on my extensive knowledge, background & many years of different workout routines, I have designed programs that have worked for me, my family, friends & I am sure they will work for you!!!"
